First Trial~ "Igiari!"

Yesterday, what I thought to be just a joke turned out to be my first trial with my friends.

So, yesterday, our teacher said that we must read, it's a new program at school called DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) (I don't even know where that came from). So, Zata read 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' (me too). And the others... I forgot. Anyway, when (almost) everyone went outside to get their things from that locker, Zata's book was just lying around there, and well... I was a person who likes to take stuff without anyone noticing, but then give it back to play a joke, but this time, it turned out to be something more. I grabbed the book and put the book in my locker.

Zata realized that her book disappeared and searched for it. I usually let the person guess first, but I then know I did a BIG mistake. Nitia saw me 'clearly' when I took the book and brought it outside. Zata then ask me questions, but I only replied, "Find it first". She got suspicious with me and said, "Okay! We're doing a trial now!". And so, Zata and Nitia became the prosecutor, and kara was my defense attorney. But first, they said that they're going to investigate.

When they investigateted, I was ready to wipe the evidence, but another I made another mistake. So, Nitia and Zata saw the inside of my locker and they didn't see the book. Nitia asks Zata to check everyone's locker, and surprise-surprise, it was in Kara's locker. How did it get there? They still don't know. And atlast, when school ends, the trial starts.

I started my testimony: "So, when Zata's book was took, I read and went to my locker to get my book. And then Zata saw me and we went to class together." Nitia then said that I was lying, because she said that I took the book, but I told her that she has no prove at all.

Zata then asks me to do another testimony: "OK, I saw the book, right there on the table. And you saw the book was in Kara's locker, how could you suspect me?! Anyway, I went outside the class to take my notebook and pencil case, just that."

They asked me a few more questions, but they need a witness, so Nitia and Marsya was called. But Marsya went home because she was picked up by her mom. So it leaves Nitia to be questioned. She said she saw me taking the book and went outside the class.

After a bit more questioning, more testimony, and 'objections!'...

Obviously, I lost, because there was not much evidence to prove my innocence and Kara helped me in this thing too, but still, there was no evidence that proves it. So Zata said that she'll have 1 more day to think. The next day, she hasn't found the evidence, and I said that the evidence was in Marsya and what she saw herself. And then she said that yesterday was fun, so she asked me to do something like that again, but with a different victim...

Wanna know how I did the crime? So here' the story:

I took Zata's book and covered it with my book, which is 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' also, and covered it again with my jacket. I went outside and put it my locker. Zata almost saw the book, but I quickly closed my locker. She then realized that she lost her book and wanted to find out who took it. She said that she'll do an investigation, but Nitia told Zata that I took her book, so I quickly came to Kara and asked her to lend me her locker key while Zata and Nitia was talking about what Nitia saw. I went outside and took the book from my locker and moved it Kara's locker, but I was out of ideas on where to hide it, so I hid it in a spot where people could find it / see it. When I went back, I pretended that I took my pencil case and gave Kara her locker key back. She and Masrya asked me what was going on, and I told them the story, and Kara agreed to help me with this, because well, it's a joke and Zata was looking like she was having fun. After that, they took a look at my locker and found nothing, but when they checked Kara's locker, well... you know what happens next.

The evidence was Marsya herself, and Zata. Why? Because Marsya knows it and she can't lie, because she'll be the witness and somehow Zata/Nitia will find out. And, because Zata took a glimpse of her book in my locker, so obciously it was me who took it.

It was fun doing that, and Zata asked me to challange her in more trials, so when I went home, I thought about another small thing that I can do, and I'm doing it today, and they still haven't found out yet. I'll post about the next case!

Trauma Center Under the Knife~ The End

After about a year playing Trauma Center Under the Knife with Kara's DS lite, I finally finished the game with a relaxed body and a fast hand (On April 1, 2008).
Why did it took me so long to finish?
Because first of all, I only have a limited amount of time to operate, because I operate after school and sometimes I have equestrian lesson. I was stuck in a couple of operations too:
  • Under the Knife (Kyriaki) (5 patients) (Just because the time limit is 10 minutes and my hand's not that fast, but I had trouble handling the vitals)
  • Infection (Paraskevi) (Cybil Myers) (Many bad words had been said when operating on this GUILT)
  • Last sin (Savato) (Last sinner) (Last level, because of the vitals and I dunno if the little spiders will become one with the core if we finish a certain procedure to excise/remove it, and I dodn't used the healing touch on the right time. So I need to redo it MANY times)
  • And anything with Triti on it (I hate Triti SO MUCH!)
Playing Trauma Center made me realize the value of human life (actually that's what the trailer said, "What is the value of human life?". And it teaches me that speed is not only what it takes to save the patient, we also need accuracy, perfection, and be careful when doing it. Plus, don't give up and try again (works for Triti, Savato, and Paraskevi for me).

Finishing Trauma Center makes me want a Nintendo DS Lite or Nintendo Wii even more! Because that's in Kara's DS, not in mine, so I want my own file with my own acchievement.

Thank you Atlus! For a great work. And Katsura Hashino for the original plot and idea, Shoji Meguro for the great music in Wii and DS, and all the other crew! (you can see it in here)

Trauma Center is one of the best games I ever played!

Aria the Origination DVD box 2

I just went to ARIA official website and found something. The second DVD box is out. I can't read japanese, but it's should consist of episode 3 and 4. here's the cover of the 2 DVDs:

I think I'm sticking to watching online first, then when all the boxes are complete, maybe I'll think of buying them.

B'day

Late update, sorry. Yesterday was my birthday, don't mean to brag though. Woke up late, just the way I like it, about 9, because I have an internship program from school that starts at 10.

The internship's in photography, so we have to present our photos to a client (or as they say a 'pretend client'), who is a boutique owner. We have to compete with the other team so the client will choose our service and photos if the client wants to do a photo shoot with her clothes from her boutique. I don't really like fashion (cause i ain't girly) and taking pictures of models, but today is surprisingly fun. I worked with 8 other people from my school, 3 of them are 8th graders. At first I was nervous, but it all turned well. The models were 2 of the 8th graders, and I think they're naturals. I took turns being the photographer and the ones incharge of the wardrobe with the other 8th grader. Thankfully our team only consists of girls, so no problem with clothes or changing clothes^^. I used canon (forgot which one). At the end of the day, the client chose us because our photo's cheaper than the other team (other team: Rp.500.000/frame, our team: Rp.200.000/frame). I didn't think we can win at first, because we presented in the editing room (cause nobody can use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, so took a LONG time to edit the photos, it kept the client waiting SO long too). But we win, happy-dance-good-time!

At the end of the day, my parents took me out to eat. I actually wanted to go home and play Gyakuten Saiban (I know it's an old game, but I'm a little behind games but i still enjoy playing it, keeps my brain working). But it's sushi, can't resist! I ate most I think, ate unagi, kappa maki, and... I forgot, I ate too much!

After that, I played Gyakuten Saiban at home, finished the 4th case (I know, long progress and an old game, but still, I like it). Slept at 12 because I have to redo the trial T^T.

That's my birthday, 12th birthday to be precise.
Here are the anime, games and things i wouldn't forget from when I was still 11 (plus the way I relate them to birthdays^^)

Celebrate it with your friends! (Kingdom hearts (manga))

The more the merrier! (ARIA)

Eat and enjoy yourselves! (Gyakuten Saiban)

I won't forget these two consoles, the best one I've ever played with!

These too... A couple of my fave games... I will still play them now

So there it is, my 12th birthday, I hope I can blog more stuff and interesting one in this blog. And thank you for reading!

Congratulations to Alice-Aika-Akari

I've been waiting to post about this. So, it proves that Aria the Origination is the last of the Aria series. Why? Because, wait... First, let's congratulate our new Prima undines, Alice, Aika, and Akari! Congratulations! I think the most memorable one was Alice's promotion. One glove, and then the other one! Wow... Just sat there and, 'What the?'. But, still, congrats to all of them.

Alice's promotion:

2 gloves (Pair), minus...

...one glove...

....minus another one. Equals...

...A Prima!

Aika's promotion:

1 glove open, that leaves no more gloves!

3...2...1...

And cry!

Akari's Promotion:

The opening of the glove

A Prima at last!

So, that's the promotions. Sorry i didn't get the image of Akari's glove being open, I'll try to find it though. Next week's the last episode of Aria the Origination. I'll make sure I watch it!

Good bye Black Orchid

I didn't think this day would come, but it did come without me expecting it.
When I went to my horse riding lesson, I looked at the list where the rider and the horse is written.
Surprisingly, next to my name, there were no 'Black orchid' written on it, instead, it was 'Hernandia.
Hernandia was a 12 year-old horse that I used to ride. My coach said that she's a bit too old to ride, and she's not that active anymore, so that's my meeting with Black Orchid. By now, I prefer riding Black Orchid more than Hernandia, because she's more active, faster, and shorter. My coach said that Black Orchid was bought by someone. He said that the person's a kid, it's the kid's birthday, so he liked riding Black Orchid, and the kid's parents bought Black orchid for the kid. Wonder where they got the money in such short notice. So on that day, I rode Hernandia. It doesn't feel the same, maybe because I'm already used to riding with Black Orchid. I had problem in canter with Hernandia now, she didn't want to go faster, so I keep whipping and yelling out stuff at her.
Ath the end of the lesson, my coach said that I'll ride a new one in the next lesson, thanks god he said that the new horse will be more active than Hernandia. But still, Black Orchid's the best horse I've ever ridden so far. Good bye Black Orchid, see you again!

Trauma Center

Got addicted to Trauma Center, dunno why. It's a great game to play, and the story line's interesting also. It's a game where we operate on people, it's fun. There are 3 series of Trauma Center, and all of them are in Nintendo game consoles.
They are:
  • Trauma Center: Under the Knife (Choshitto Kadukeusu (or Caduceus)) (Nintendo DS)
  • Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Caduceus Z) (Nintendo Wii)
  • Trauma Center: New Blood (Caduceus New Blood) (Nintendo Wii)
Under the Knife and Second Opinion has (almost the same) story line. Only in Second Opinion, there are extra operations and a new doctor. New Blood is 10 years after Second Opinion.
In every series, there's a disease that we have to face until the end of the game.
In Second Opinion, there's GUILT (Gangliated utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin), and in New Blood, there's Stigma.

Screen shots:

Under the Knife:

Second Opinion:

New Blood:

You can play Trauma Center in Wii with 2 Wiimotes, so you can have your friend help you in the operation, or if you prefer to work alone, you can do it.

Note: Which one do you like most? Angie (the nurse) in Under the Knife or in Second Opinion (The looks, etc)?
